A new Harvard study found diacetyl and other chemicals like formaldehyde in flavored e-cigarette e-liquid also called vape juice. The Harvard Gazette reported on Dec. 8, that diacetyl is linked to an increase in a lung disease known as bronchiolitis obliterans. Formaldehyde is a preservative that can cause respiratory irritation. This news is worrying to e-cig users, vapers and parents of kids who vape.
