School bans leggings, yoga pants for showing crotch (don't all pants show the crotch?)

Some teen gals in Tennessee got themselves ejected from their classrooms for their choice in attire. The "uptight" Mt. Juliet High School booted 40 girls for wearing leggings, reported 17 magazine on Nov. 3. What the heck are leggings, you ask? They're those clingy (and oh-so-comfy) sort-of-pants, sort-of-tights: you know, what the older generation called long underwear? Seriously, they're a little thicker than hosiery, but only just. Girls (and many women) love leggings, also called yoga pants, because they are soft, versatile and surprisingly warm. But schools hate them because boys also love leggings. Schools are concerned that the male population is distracted by the immodestly revealing crotch area in yoga pants.Uptight Mt.
